He gazed upwards, his eyes once more locking unto Galen's. "We don't know the reason; all we know is that the patriarch wishes to help defend the town against the House of Crimson and its ally. We are already enemies with them, and he wishes to eradicate anything that might jeopardize the House and its location."
"How many?"
Eammon did not question their reasoning for helping defend the town, but he had to be certain of the number of men present.
"Including us two, six. There are six of us, all of whom are at the level of Squire." Galen nodded and responded with a small smile still clinging to his face.
"Six? Ser Galen I do not mean to be rude, but even with so many Squires (Rank 2), are you sure we will be able to obtain victory?"
"Haha, no need to worry about that! With me and the old man here there's nothing to worry about, even if their patriarchs are present," Cael patted Eamon on the back hard as he laughed heartily.
