Synopsis

Announcement!

This chapters is based on the changes I mentioned in the announcement in chapter 81

Firstly the most basic changes are a few name changes in the rankings and power scaling. I reviewed it and wanted something different compared to the original.

1. Ranking of the knights

Man-at-arms

Squire

Knight

Senior Knight

Master Knight

Champion Knight

Oathbound Knight

Mythos Knight

Eonian Knight

Primordial Knight

Note: Only a few were changed and i am currently happy with the name changes, in the future there may be a name change for rank 7, the Oathbound Knight. I will communicate about it later on if needed.

2. Rankings of the Houses

Pathway

Sanctuary

Estate

Manor

Grove

Citadel

Palace

Haven

Summit

Dominion

Note: I really wasn't satisfied with the naming sense of the household rankings and finally changed it, almost everything was renamed to make it make more sense if i could put it like that. For now i am satisfied but it too can change in the future.

3. Horse Types

Plains Pony

Saddle Horses

Courser

War Horse

Now this one isn't particularly important but it made more sense to revamp the category. I shortened the list by quite a large amount compared to the previous obnoxious amount of horses. After some careful thought I found that there is simply no need for so many categories and I really won't have so many horse types in the book.

4. Knight Breathing Techniques

All techniques have the potential of the five tier structure, but it is based off the achievements of the previous generations. For example one master was able to pioneer his technique towards the limit of the five tier structure and so it is passed on for generations but those who have not pioneered their techniques are stuck on the first tier until one does pioneer the technique. The only way for that to happen is if one's concentration of blood and purity is high and they have a strong bloodline connection. As knights progress their blood gets substantially thicker and stronger, that is the basis of their strength.

*So basically i want to revamp the whole breathing technique. I really wasn't happy with my previous decision regarding the techniques. At the time I felt it was good but now I sorely realized I would have written myself into a corner that would take a long time and effort to change or advance from.

The techniques are now based on a five tier structure, with each tier being stronger and having stronger effects. The world has the basic breathing techniques which suite everyone but they start at the lowest point, tier 1 Iron breath.

For a technique to advance one would need to pioneer it and create a technique suited to their bloodline.

The Balmore bloodline technique has not been around for long and is at the Iron breath level. One of the members of the bloodline would need to pioneer it in order for it to have stronger effects.

So all in all, there is a breathing technique for everyone in this world and everyone has a chance of breaking through to the highest tier, with certain requirements being met of course. But only bloodline techniques can achieve the highest tier, not a normal technique.

*Note that i will give more detailed (and a better explained) description in the future but for now this will do just fine.

Let me know what you guys think!!
