They turned to look at one another before sighing. This time, Thorne spoke, "Very well. I must confess that there was not much hope for this from the start. As you said, we bring nothing to the table and ask for help in return. But if you were to have any thoughts on this war, then the next time, there will be benefits for you if you so wish."
