The next morning everyone woke up early as always. And just like every other day they started doing their daily tasks, but with the addition of the new civilians and now that they have settled in, they could start focusing on other chores.
"So, from today on there is much to do, and since Galen and the other four are injured and I prohibited them from helping until they are recovered. But this will mean more work for us, so let's start with a few simple things. Since you guys have all been settled in, we will need an abundance of crop land and so on. I want you guys to find suitable crop land to seed. The storage has been filled almost to the brim and needs to be expanded so that will have to be done. The blacksmith forge also needs work." he said slowly as he looked toward the group of 11. "Caspian you take 4 men to help you build your forge. Then the rest of you divide yourself equally into two groups, one group will look for suitable farmland and start creating and tilling the ground. The other group shall mine and chop down wood for the storage unit."
"And finally, we shall hunt in the afternoons but not we will not go into the inner areas, we will only hunt in the outer fringes. If we run into a dire beast while we try to go too deep, we might as well start digging our graves ourselves."
"Any objections or suggestions?" he added, "One, it would seem that at the moment we do not have a large number of rocks, and because we don't have iron ores, I can't forge an iron forge directly but only a stone forge. I want to try and dig deeper into the mountain to search for suitable rocks and maybe iron ores to use. Is there a problem with any of that?" Caspian asked inattentively.
"Hahaha, I have no objections to it. Just try not to disturb the mountain too much" Eldric laughed and walked away as his voice sounded. And so, the daily life of the House of Snow went on, Eldric attended his private crops inside the cavern and sorted out its interior. He wanted it to be clean and beautiful while the rest attended to the outer area at the House.
Sweat and tears were poured out this day as the magnitude of work without the five knights was quite exhausting for the civilians, but it seems not all has been in vain as the heavy workload brought about some experience points to some. The group has made some progress in their levels, and Eldric took the time to see where they stand. The 10 civilians not counting Caspian who is a blacksmith are then summarized as follows:
3 At Tier 0 level 8
2 At Tier 0 level 7
4 At Tier 0 level 6
1At Tier 0 level 5
Which meant if they are given a week of training and hunting the House of Snow would be able to welcome three more men-at-arms to their household. Which in his opinion was extremely lucky, because in a week's time there would be 8 knights in their household.
But that was for another time to be excited about, for now he had to prioritize their construction and hunting. Eldric had also thought during the day that the farmland and the forge would take longer than the storage and thus when he had finished with his tasks in the cavern, he went to help expand the storage.
With him and the other 3 men working on the building, they were able to expand it to some degree by the time that they went to hunt. Walking in a formation armed with their spears and axes, they trudged through the woods.
A few hours passed by, and the group could be seen walking back to the House." Hahaha, you fellows, come on you can't let me catch more prey than you" he mocked playfully as they walked back. "What do you mean, Patriarch? Is it not your duty to perform better." They mocked back as they hid their spoils behind their backs. "You! Fine, fine. That's what I get for trying to compare" he sighed and the whole group burst out in laughter. In truth Eldric mocked them because the haul today was not that great, but Eldric killed two stripped fowls. He had mocked them because some of them had only killed one prey but due to them ultimately catching Mountain rabbits and even one Wild Iron boar he was defeated.
Yet the group had laughed at each other and playfully mocked each other during the trip back. And with that the day came to a close and they once more gathered around the campfire for dinner.
Just like that the days pass by and a whole week has passed by. Eldric could not sleep as he was too excited. Yesterday afternoon after their hunt the system sounded and without much guess to what it was, he opened the panel and saw exactly what he was waiting for.

He had done like every time before, at the campfire he held the knighting ceremony to welcome the newest additions to the House. And like before every time a knight had advanced the system would reward him with their corresponding weapons. All three of them had gotten a Knights broadsword.
And with that they had finally had 8 Knights, and to top it all of the group of 5 that were injured had finally recovered and would thus begin today with helping and hunting.
