'It's still not enough,' Eldric said, finishing his session with a disappointed sigh. He wasn't able to make much progress from the session, and it vexed him. Here, he was struggling to increase his cultivation speed to catch up with his men, but to no avail.
'If this keeps up, the elders would be near Rank 3 once I reach Rank 2. It's too slow.' he stood up and walked out of his cabin. If it was before when he was still at the Balmore household, he would never have said such words, but given that he was a patriarch of a newly built house in a relatively unfamiliar area with not much strength, he was in quite the predicament.
At least at Balmore House, he did not need to worry about daily affairs and could have kept one cultivated without a care in the world.
Sensing these thoughts, Eldric shook his head vigorously and tried to clear his mind.
