When he felt like everything was lost, two shouts came from behind: "Cael!"
Both Solen and Galen had rushed off to come and help as soon as they could. They saw the events unfolding before them in fear and concern, and they shouted desperately.
Cael looked over his shoulder and was surprised, 'Those fools,' he smiled in relief, 'What took them so long.'
Galen and Solen saw the crisis and quickly split up to intercept the two wolves on the sides.
They rushed in, and in a matter of seconds, the two beasts were dealt with swiftly. Now, only the alpha remained. The massive wolf hurriedly disengaged when Solen and Galen attacked from both sides. Their attack ultimately missed, but it freed Cael from the deadlock.
