Inside the car sat four robbers who were wailing in pain and covered in blood.
Glancing at them, Russell didn't hesitate as white tentacles welled up in his right hand and forced them out of the car.
Because there was so much roughness in his movements, it hurt the already injured robber even more.
However, he didn't care about that at all.
After lifting the four robbers out of the car, he maneuvered the symbiote to possess them and treated their injuries slightly.
If he were a traveler right now, he'd put a bullet in each of them and just send the four of them packing.
But right now, being in the middle of playing a superhero, he can't do that.
Not only could he not send these four guys to hell, he couldn't even hurt them too much.
The news helicopter cameras were now firmly trained on him, broadcasting live from what he was doing.
For the sake of so-called political correctness and human rights, even if these four guys were robbers, he had to make sure that these four guys' lives were safe.
At least he'd make sure the four guys were alive before handing them over to the police.
How could these four robbers not have expected that Russell would actually start treating them again after forcibly stopping them?
The symbiote's possession allowed them to recover quickly from their injuries.
Russell didn't fully recover from their injuries.
When the injuries of the four robbers turned out to be minor, he used his spider-like white tentacles to bind the four of them.
It didn't take long for the police in the back to gather around and take away the four unlucky guys.
Once the police handcuffed the four robbers, Russell disarmed them of their white tentacles.
While the white tentacles he was using now looked similar to the spider silk Gwen used, they were completely different.
Gwen uses a spider silk that actively disintegrates and it doesn't matter if it's recycled back or not.
And the white tentacles he uses don't just disappear for nothing.
He didn't want these symbiotes of his to fall into the hands of some government agency.
S.H.I.E.L.D., for example.
The robbers were taken away, and the sheriff who was leading the group quickly came to Russell and thanked him.
The sheriff didn't know what Russell was, but one thing he was sure of was that Russell wasn't a bad guy.
It's day five of Russell's superhero whitewashing program.
In the past five days, he hadn't failed to help the police catch criminals.
Far from it, today alone, he's performed three heroic activities.
Rescuing people trapped at the scene of a fire, stopping a car accident, and now this assisting the police in catching a bank robber.
After thanking him, the sheriff began directing his men to collect evidence from the scene.
Common sense would dictate that Russell should have left the scene by now and turned it over to the police.
But he didn't.
The reason is simply because he's being interviewed right now.
Doing good deeds without leaving a name!
It's a traditional virtue in the flower grower's family.
But in the United States of America, it's not a virtue to do good without leaving your name.
Especially for Russell, who plays a superhero, doing good, must leave a name.
Of course, this leave behind is not to announce one's true identity, but to leave behind one's heroic code name.
For the past five days, his heroic act of righteousness had gotten some news media coverage, but until now, the citizens of New York had no idea what his new hero was called.
Russell hasn't been a superhero before, but he's no stranger to how to be one.
Instead of referencing the likes of the Fantastic Four and Gwen, he's now referencing a certain cosmic team of heroes, the Super Heroic Seven!
Compared to the superheroes of the comic book and DC universes, it's the superhero sevens that are the best representation of the economic value of superheroes.
"Hello sir, I'm Christina, a reporter from the Daily Bugle. I'd like to ask you what motivated you to stand up for justice and help the weak? What do you think of superheroes like the Fantastic Four and Spider-Woman? And what should people call you?"
I have to say, journalists in the United States of America are just efficient.
Before any of the police backup could even get to the scene, Christina, a reporter, had already arrived on the scene.
In addition to Cristini, Russell saw other journalists running quickly toward him, fearful of missing an interview.
"Ms. Christina, hello."
"The reason why I stand up for justice and help the weak is really simple, because people need help, and I happen to have the strength to have the strength to help people."
"Someone once said that the greater the ability, the greater the responsibility! As a member living in New York, New York is our home, and in times of crime and disaster in New York, I believe we have an obligation to protect the city, especially when we have the ability to do so."
"As far as how I feel about people like the Fantastic Four and Spider-Woman, I feel that they are role models that I need to learn from and I respect and support them from the bottom of my heart and hope that I can one day be as good as they are."
"Regarding the name, if you all like, you can call me a serum, the kind that specializes in curing diseases and poisonings."
After answering Christina's question, Russell apologized to the reporter who came up behind him.
Then, as people watched, he shot white tentacles towards the building next to him, and like Spider-Woman Gwen, swung his tentacles and quickly disappeared from sight.
More than half an hour later, he returned to the lab, having been released from his "serum agent" form.
Upon returning to his office, he began by pulling a bottle of scotch from the liquor cabinet and pouring himself a glass.
Then, turned on the TV and watched the news.
As he had expected, the lead of the news changed from the robber to him immediately after he appeared to catch the robber and was interviewed by Christina.
While he only answered Christina's question, other journalists heard him as he answered the question.
Now, several news channels that are broadcasting live are running similar headlines.
"A new hero is born! Serum!"
"New York welcomes new superhero serum!"
He sipped his whiskey as he watched the hosts and guests make various comments.
The most discussed thing, of course, is his true identity.
Guess anything about that.
Some say he's an agent of the government's secret service, some say he's a veteran of the military, and some say he's just a cop who has awakened his superpowers.
The main basis for these speculations was the white combat suit he was wearing.
Although his battle suit was changed out of a symbiote, it was very similar to those used by the government sector in terms of style.
In addition to the speculation that he's from a government agency, there's another speculation that's getting a lot of support right now.
Spider-Woman's boyfriend!
His battle suit and Spider-Woman's uniform are both in black and white, and he leaves the scene in a very similar manner to Spider-Woman.
Although his "spider silk" looks a bit different, but from the form, his white tentacles and Gwen's use of spider silk is the same.
So the speculation that he was Spider-Woman's boyfriend came to the forefront.
