Tanvir continued to loot corpse's after corpse's, He realized something the courses weren't droping spirit stones! Thinking of asking the old man, he saw him concentrating on something and decided not to disturb him. Skill books were along with weapons only blood esscens where somewhat common.
He looted another corpse,This time two skill books appeared. But they floated right away toward the old man. And just like that turned into particles. He closed his eyes just like last time and Tanvir didn't think too much and touched the next corpse which automatically appeared where the last one was.
" Hmm a battle skill, good let's test it out" The old man said. Suddenly the surroundings changed and the beautiful garden became a open Feild surrounded by mountains. Tanvir sighed as he had seen enough and being shocked wouldn't help him anymore.
Soon a Saber appeared on the old man's hand, the blade was transparent as if it was made of transparent glass..soon the blue transparent saber started glowing with red flame and strange magical circles started appearing and hovering on the body of the saber.
In next second the old man opened his eyes and a shockwave spreaded toward the Surroundings..before Tanvir could react it hit him ..but thankfully as if the old man was protecting him, the shockwaves bend and avoided him!
Tanvir sighed in relief and looked at the old man, Who swinged his saber in front of him.
—BOoM!!
A powerful shockwave accompanied by a slash of fire erupted from the saber and processed toward it's target like a blazing ray, destroying everything on it's path leaving behind a trail of melted lava on the ground..
Soon less then a second it struck the huge mountain!
—BoOm!
The whole mountain exploded the moment the attack struck .
Tanvir didn't mutter anything and continued to look at the aftermath, which was so hard to comprehend even for him who used to read and watch fantacy stories. He looked at the old man, who inhaled a huge breath.
" Phewhhh" As he let it out smoke started coming out of his mouth along side some sparks of lightning.
" Hmm not bad for a quick fight with weaklings" he muttered and his saber disappeared from his hand.
Just hearing what he said just now, Tanvir was shocked but he realized there's no use of it as this old man was stronger than he had imagined.
The old man turned around with a smile, saying, "That is called a Thunder Fairy Slash, which uses lightning and fire. If you're shocked by this, I wonder what will happen if I show you my full power."
Tanvir sighed and shook his head. "You are undoubtedly stronger than me. You don't need to show me your powers. I will process this now," he replied calmly.
The old man's smile froze for a moment, and he muttered awkwardly, "Good, good, I guess. Continue with your work."
Tanvir nodded and returned to looting the corpses. This time, he touched two of them, receiving three white bottles and a sword resembling a dragon. Just like before, the loot floated toward the old man.
Tanvir attempted to touch a corpse with his foot, but there was no reaction, realizing that he needed to use his hand. Without delay, he processed two more corpses, obtaining three skill books that floated towards the old man. Tanvir paid no attention to the booming sounds caused by the old man testing his new skills. He sometimes becomes happy and sometimes cursed for skill being useless to him.
Two hours passed in the blink of an eye. Soon, the last corpse was processed, and the work was finally done. This time, a sword appeared, and Tanvir grabbed it. It was a light blue color and looked worn out.
"Hmm, you did well, brat. I did gain a few good skills... about three of them, I think, which is pretty good," the old man nodded in satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Tanvir's mind stopped working, hearing the old man's words. "Three of them?" he thought. "He must have processed thousands of them already! How can he only like three? Alongside those bloodline bottles!"
But Tanvir didn't show any emotions, as it was his reward time. "Old man, give me my rewards!"
The old man smiled and said, "Sure, sure. How can't I reward you?" Just seeing his face gave Tanvir goosebumps, and he knew right away that the old man was up to something.
The old man waved his hand with elegance, and with a loud thud, a huge pile of corpses appeared in the same place where the old man was standing. "These are all yours. Go process them," he said with the most innocent smile in the world.
Meanwhile, Tanvir didn't say anything, as he was kind of expecting this, though he had to go through this task again. However, he realized that this time it was for him, and he quickly got to work.
Meanwhile, the old man chuckled behind Tanvir's back. It didn't bother Tanvir, for he had cursed the old man in his mind, and in his view, they were now even.
