Chapter 7 - Discovery

As I woke up, I looked around, somewhat confused. However, as I got up, I realized I was on a bed since my clothes hadn't changed, and I didn't feel anything; at least, they didn't touch me anywhere. Using mana detection, I noticed a group of servants walking towards the entrance of this room. Looking ahead, I stared at them as they entered the room with them, looking at them as if I were a lifeless being; I didn't move at all, which gave them somewhat of a scare, seeing as they were moving farther away, I blinked and just went back to lying down since I was still tired, I'm hoping this isn't some dude trying to "Save" me from others and bringing me here only to try and marry him because he saved me. I'll jump to another universe if that were the case.

"Hello, Ma'am, we have come here to assist you as our Leader has told us to do so."

While It looked like I went back to sleep, I had also separated my soul from my body and created a spiritual avatar to stare at them and see what they looked like; both of them were female, as I hoped so since this world has extremely braindead or perverted men or what I assumed. At least a few of them, I know for a fact, aren't like this.

Seeing them bow and leave, I returned to my body and got up. I grabbed the towel and saw the directions to the bathroom. After making sure, I entered the women's bathroom.

"Why are you still reading this part? You should know where this is going and have some manners to skip this part."

[30 Minutes Later]

I finished taking a bath, not to mention it's been a long time since I did; this place already looks modern inside these houses, having showers, soap, hair conditioner, shrubs, and more. I reformed my clothes and dropped the towel; I made my dress longer, almost reaching the floor. My hair had also seemingly grown more as well; I used the wind as a blade and cut some of it off so it wouldn't annoy me when I'm fighting someone if I ever do so. I was cautious; I didn't care if this person "Saved" me for whatever reason. I had no reason to simply trust them because of this. Walking through the building halls, I looked around. Using Mana Detection, I noticed that this was a mansion connected to the mountain I was trying to get into; that was the first step. Suddenly, a person appeared before me; he was tall and had long, straight hair almost touching the ground. Another thing to note was that he had white hair and looked expressionless. This was probably a cultivator who had lived thousands of years and had lost all emotions; it was natural if you lived for this long.

"What business do you have with me?"

He looked directly at me as I spoke to him. I didn't really care who he was, nor did I look concerned or scared of him, but he was somewhat happy. I could see a smile on his face grow due to this.

"You were trying to infiltrate the Sect, were you not?"

I nod, agreeing with him; while I was simply entering to see how people acted, I was still infiltrating. He didn't seem so angry, nor was he doing anything rash like others, so he was an exception to the cultivator stereotype.

"My name is Kaida Omikami, but You can also call me Lilith. May I know your name?"

I spoke calmly while also asking for his name; I didn't want to refer to him as a white-haired man.

"I am Gu Fei Yang, but You can also call me by my Alias, The Heavenly Dragon."

He gave an expressionless face. He had no reason to care what I thought about it, and I didn't want to say anything involving it; it was an awkward silence.

"Nice to meet you; if you do not mind, what is the name of this sect?"

"The Sect has no real name; it's more considered a Holy Region for Cultivators to Grow and reach the pinnacle of Martial Arts; I have been unable to grow past this state being the Mystical Qi Formation. But I have reached the Ninth Minor Realm of Mystical Qi Formation. I need something more to increase my lifespan, considering it is half the usual as I started off with a hundred-year lifespan..."

He stopped speaking for a second

"I apologize for continuing to speak, losing the conversation's objective; as I've said before, you can call it the Holy Region."

I looked at him, somewhat happy. He seemed more lively with people near him and talking to him. Usually, with this much power, people respect you too much to the point that no one treats you as an equal or friend.

"I can help you reach a Higher Realm if you so wish for that help. I'm only 19, so I do not know much I can do."

"It is alright. I do not mind if you fail or if I get harmed. As long as I know that there is something higher than this realm, I will be satisfied."

Even though I have yet to learn what is past this realm, I'll look by using Time Magic. I looked directly into the future while searching through different spaces and listening in; I went directly into a School that was dense with "Qi," as I heard the Mystical Qi Formation Realm mention.

"The Mystical Qi Formation Realm starts a martial artist's Journey. If you reach the realm in less than a thousand Years. After that is the Chaotic Star Formation Realm. It is formed when a person can create a star using their element, allowing them to create their own solar system in their Solar Alignment Field, which is located inside your Core."

Going back to my current period, I look at him and then point at his chest, or well, where his soul and Core are.

"Try Entering your Core and creating a star made of the element you're most specialized in."

He looked at me, somewhat confused. Though his face didn't show it, his body language did.

"Alright, I'll believe you. First, shall we go to my abode so I can cultivate there since entering my Core would leave me completely defenseless."

He began walking towards a wall only to walk right through it; not wanting to take chances, I teleported through the wall, reaching the other side and seeing a platform with a dense amount of Qi. He sat down in the center, getting into a meditation pose, except his hands were shaped into a circle right where his Core was; I got closer and stood above him as I watched him. I turned on my Mana Detection and noticed a giant amount of Qi quickly approaching the location. I didn't want him to be harmed as he could help reform everyone and make them somewhat normal instead of power-hungry beasts who don't care about people who don't cultivate and are practically harmless to them. I put my hand out and concentrated as I formed a multi-layered Illusion and a multi-layered barrier. Stopping people from getting closer. If they did try, they'd get lost if they didn't know how to deal with illusions, slowly destroying their souls.

I noticed a solar system formed above his head with a bright white and light pink color. A thunderous star formed in the center, and gas and asteroids surrounded the thunderous star; it was done. He had reached the next realm, the Chaotic Star Formation Realm. I noticed a tribulation had formed. Above us, considering the sky had gotten darker. People were made to evacuate from the sect due to the tribulation's power. The first Thunder Strike Struck down was at the level of Foundation Establishment, which I could withstand; along with that, I had absorbed the power of the tribulation, increasing my Qi Tenfold.

I had an excess amount of Qi, which was actively being turned into my foundation, causing me to rise in my realm. I was at what I like to call Foundation Establishment Late. I was extremely close to legitimately reaching Core Formation instead of cheating my way to it by using Mana. The next thunderstrike came, and this one jumped to the end of the core formation. It was excruciating, but I could still handle it; my body was barely even able to withstand it, and I could absorb very little of the tribulation. The Next one would definitely kill me; since I couldn't do much more to resist this other than use my magic, I sighed in defeat, looking up as the next thunder strike came down, only for it to be stopped and had it begun being absorbed by my arm going into my body surging it with power along with enhancing the lifeforce of my soul. But that had caused a problem. Since I wasn't an ordinary soul with just the average 19 years of life experience, I have had the life experience of multiple other people, whether bad or good. My soul was already at the adult stage, being older than my body. Now that I think about it, my adult self looks like what people call Milfs; I've begun going off-topic. I look at this so-called Sect Leader as he deals with the fourth and fifth thunderbolts; the sixth and seventh had caused the surrounding area to shake from its power, the eighth began destroying the ground, and finally, the ninth had caused a giant explosion, which we were protected by but had definitely alerted people within the sect if anyone was left.

"You done, or are you gonna sit there?"

I sat there and waited and continued waiting since I needed to figure out how long it usually takes cultivators to reach a higher realm. As I sat down, I thought of continuing my cultivation; seeing as multiple elements were extremely hard to master, I'll go for the element of Fire. Creating a spark inside my Core, it began heating up; a flame took the place of my soul while it was separate from my body. It already felt like my cultivation was increasing more and more; my Core had begun materializing and strengthening as if it were a sword being fixed; the longer I sat there cultivating, the deeper I went into cultivation; I had soon lost my sense of time by the time I had woken up I felt significantly different along with my body smelling like absolute dogshit, looking ahead I see that he was still waiting.

"You finally woke up; I did not know there was someone in this world with enough perseverance to cultivate for 15 years straight. They usually stop to get more pills to hasten the process."

He still spoke emotionlessly. His voice seemed slightly deeper, but it was hard to notice, considering he barely spoke.

"I assume you want to take a bath, is that right?"

I looked at him as he said this. Getting up, I noticed another difference in my body: it had naturally gotten taller by a few inches but was still not as tall as him.

"Sure, I'll bathe, but you cannot follow me, right?"

He nodded at me without doing much and disappeared due to how fast he could move. I looked away and left the abode, teleporting through the wall once again, and went to the women's bathroom.

[3 Hours Later]

"Why did it take that long to remove the smell from my body..."

I had told myself this as I looked annoyed. The water was no longer warm to me, to the point I had to manipulate it using magic to make it warmer. I had dried myself as a lot of dead skin had fallen out of my body as if it were another human at this point on the ground. I burned the dead skin and changed my dress, making it longer and having sleeves that reached the start of my hand.
