Recap : In the previous chapters, We saw how Warren was embracing his end with smile. But fate had other plans for him. As his end is interrupted by The Thing. But the next part was the thing which shook warren to his core. Seeing the guy who was expression less and defeated them without batting much eye. To smile now. That is scary and a nightmare for him.
Story starts here :
Warren just saw his whole life flash. He knows that someday he will leave. But not this soon.
In his head he always thought he will grow old and will see how the kids grew up. But the moment he joined workers.
He expected that he might not make it to that dream. But the end by the hands of a man who they came to save.
Such end seems like a plot of 3rd comic or a fanfic.
But something unexpected happened, He felt he should have been hit or knocked out by now.
Taking a peak, He noticed the guy who was about to end them looking somewhere else.
Looking at the same direction in him. Warren finally saw IT.
Each affiliate has an executive or a strong guard. Warren for most time here, was told to stand clear once orders are given.
He remembers the question, He aksed " Who should i be clear of?".
Eli was also near him, He also raised his eyebrow showing a bit of interest in the topic.
Warren remember the guy Isoju the executive of the affiliate telling him. " The correct word of question will be, What Not Who".
Such a cryptic response made warren confused but his confusion is soon sent away by the next words. "You just need to avoid THE THING, Think of it like a super strong weapon to guard the secret of the affiliate".
Warren also wanted to see, What was the thing. But his curiosity was suppressed by the task of workers.
But this curiosity is satisfied now. Looking at tall and a massive figure. Warren can feel it. The guy is something else.
While his figure might seem threatening but. Warren knows who's the true danger here. And to see such a guy smile, Warren felt it, Like he saw something.
Something that no human should see, He saw it. But all thoughts are gone. As he looks at the large figure holding Eli's weapons.
Before he could process or make assumptions, The fight started, No The massacre began.
Warren didn't saw when Sb Ui Daniel moved. One second he was smiling the next he's gone.
The speed at which SB UI moved it left a Crater on the ground. The next secene showed warren. The difference between technique and strength.
SB UI rushed the Thing. Using tasooma copy. He struck him. In the middle of his stomach.
The area of impact was deformed. The Thing middle section was pushed in. As it screamed in pain.
Without holding back it attacked Sb Ui. Who easily Dodge the wild swipe.
Standing for a while. SB Ui looked at the thing. The reason why he stood for a while. Was he was matching the things strength.
The Thing strength is said to be on par with Tom lee. But his speed and Iq are not on par sith tom.
So when SB UI matched the strength it Also matched the speed of tom lee to balance.
Within seconds Sb Ui delivered many strikes using systema. Legs chest stomach throat face.
The fast flowing strikes which contained the power of Tom lee. The Thing was sent on his knees, He was not given any chance of retaliation.
The mighty figure was on his knees, This scene might seem anticlimactic, But between 2 of them. The biggest might be the Thing.
But strongest is the Perfect body Of Daniel park. While the secene unfolded. Warren looked on his left and saw Jerry with his back against the wall. And vasco on his right.
Looking to the other side of the room, He saw Og Daniel face first lying on the ground.
Looking at the one sided fight they talked.
Jerry was first one to speak " So Who's the big guy, And how is That monster seems stronger and faster then before, I can barely see him".
The question of jerry also got vasco interest. So after hearing that. He is called THE THING. The final shield of the first affiliate.
After hearing the explanation. Jerry still looking at the fight asked the Golden question " How long do you think the final card, Can hold on".
Warren looks at Jerry for a while then turns his head back to the fight. And spoke in a tone of remembrance.
Flash back
While training with manager kim. He asked him
A question While he was training with him. " Hey i am thankful for your training. But will this work against people larger and stronger then me".
Manager kim hearing his question respond with a little laugh " The power or strength is useless without proper technique. But that doesn't mean, It useless against the strong technique will not make you win. But will give you an opening to get to a safe distance or run".
Warren hearing it responded" So does that mean it's use less, But What if a person has both. Unmatched strength and technique. Then what should i do".
Manager kim hearing this looked warren in the eyes as his voice was emotion less, The words which were spoken were
" Pray you never encounter a such monster, cases like this are really rare a person with unmatched strength and technique. But its not impossible, So praying will be your hope".
Flash back ends.
" Pray that he last long enough for us to recover".
After hearing Warren words both did that. Prayed for the Thing to last enough time, For their recovery.
While it began, somewhere else we see our nightmare and jiyoung park.
The secene has changed with jiyoung begin on the ground while system stood over him.
What happened, Or How happened only jake saw what happened. Jake thought ' Uncle jiyoung had the upper hand in that fight, He was clearly winning, But suddenly he was defeated, Without giving him much chance to recover'.
Lets take a bit of flash back to what happened here.
After jiyoung said he will tell him, While he will be taking his last breath.
System took that SHII Personally. Seeing jiyoung looking smug and thinking how can he kill him. This sets system off a bit.
So when jiyoung once again used that camouflage technique. System hand shoot out. Grabbing air behind him.
While it may seem like nothing was their. But a button was in his hand. He clearly grabbed something. But it was a little off.
Pulling his hand back. System played with the button while, Looking in a direction he spoke, "So is this how it works, I can understand it. But the real thing will make me understand it even more".
After saying that system gaze turns to his back as jiyoung stood their, He was sweating. As the buttons of his shirt were missing.
Seeing this jiyoung is shocked. Looking at the system he sees the elder brother of jake. The words making the illusion even more real.
Jiyoung spoke in a shakey voice " How did you find me, The technique was perfect. Perfect weapon to kill anyone, Even garpyoung had alot of trouble dealing with this. But you just saw through the technique within a minute".
Jiyoung greatted his teeth in anger. As the technique which gave garpyoung trouble. Was seen through his killer in a minute.
Jiyoung felt that he must be dreaming. System hearing his question. Responded in a clam tone.
" That's a clean trick you got their, While it may work on many people. But for those with good senses this technique will fails. But at the same time its soo dam impressive".
System continues his voice containing a bit of excitement like a child finding a new toy.
" The technique makes use of your copy talent. You copy your enemy breathing pattern their stance. Even the way that he is balancing himself. Making your self a mirror. And with that you attack the person not giving him much chance to recover. So whats the name of this technique, Wanna tell me. Or will you tell me while on your last breath".
As the words ended jiyoung was left speechless and his Brian was sent into processing this new found information.
But before jiyoung could come to any conclusion. The guy infornt of him vanished. He vanished like him.
But he heard his voice clearly mocking him. " To achive the vanishing effect, You made use of your speed in a pretty clean way. First creating a distraction. Then moving good good".
The system continues to speak the mocking tone replaced by simple clam tone. " Now let's see how long can you stand. You had your fun, Now it's my turn".
Jiyoung is kicked in the back of the knee. Making him lose the balance. And fall on the knee.
He is not given any chance to recover. The same pattern as jiyoung attacked system with followed.
The strength and speed were higher then jiyoung, All that happened with jake on the side lines watching. His uncle receiving the beat down. As jiyoung is laid flat on the ground.
With the masked ma. Standing over him. Jake wanted to help.
But deep down he knew, Even if he joined the fight he won't be much of a help. But he remembers his father's words.
"How can i fall here, I got many people who relie on me. So if i fall here who will they relie on".
Getting that conviction boost. He rushed towards jiyoung park. With his intention of helping.
System clearly heard the footsteps behind him. But his attention was on jiyoung park. So when jake thought he is going to succeed in landing a hit.
He is flipped, System used aikido to flip him. Without Turing toward him. Jake landed on his back.
The attack might not have done much physical damage. But The phycological damage.
Or in easy words
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE.
The conviction boost of jake took massive damage. Like think for a sec you attack a guy on his back. Just to be flipped like a egg on an pan.
While jake questioned his purpose of living. Jiyoung mind processed the events that happened.
Trying to understand where did it all started to go Wrong. He was winning, He was angry, He was sad , He got angry again, He wanted to kill the reason for his anger , He got upper hand. Then he got reversed uno upon him.
All the gears in his head worked to make proper sense. But he didn't got the answer he needed. But before he could think more.
Nightmare spoke "Now are you willing to tell me what and where is the weakness of charles choi, And before you get your stroke believe me, This time i will kill ja".
But before nightmare could finish his words he is cut off by jiyoung who said in a clam tone "Your not him. The meds have messed with my head that much. But i finally got my head clear. To get the final answer, Your not GitaeKim".
