Chapter 44 - Thekasha's Attack

Chapter 44

Under the brilliant glow, Thekasha stared blankly at the golden boy in front of her.

Her clear eyes rippled like water.

"Are you a god? Did you hear my prayer?"

Thekasha knelt on her knees with an expression full of excitement.

"I am Apollo, the God of Light, from Mount Olympus, and I heard your prayer." With brilliant golden light, Apollo replied in a deep voice.

"Apollo… the God of Light…" Thekasha stared at the god in front of her and bowed.

"Great god, I am Thekasha, the Princess of Delphi. My country is being attacked by monsters. We have no heroes to fight against. Please save us."

"Thekasha is willing to pay any price to build the most majestic temple for you and make all the people your followers."

Thekasha sobbed with crystal tears in her eyes, begging for help on the ground.

Apollo glanced at her lightly and stared into the distance:

"The brilliance of the light shines in every life. I do not need faith, and you do not need salvation. What should you do to save yourselves?"

"You don't take faith…" Thekasha fretted in panic.

How can mortals be able to save themselves? This must be just a pushback from the gods who are unwilling to help their own country.

"Lord Apollo, please have pity on the innocent people of Delphi. I am willing to pay any price."

The young girl begged sadly on the ground.

"Mortal…"

Staring at her cheek, Apollo sighed slightly.

Suddenly, a splendid light enveloped Thekasha.

The young girl felt her surroundings abruptly spinning up.

"Here is…"

After blinking, she looked at the familiar surroundings in surprise.

The upright walls, the clean streets, this was the home where she grew up, the land she would give anything to save it.

"Ah, run away; the monsters are here." A terrified cry suddenly echoed inside and outside the city-state.

A vast shadow covered the sky. It was a monster with six heads, a body like a snake, and a lizard covered with scales.

His twelve eyes were all scarlet, with human-like agility, softly spitting venom, and his fat tail swept down on many buildings.

Rumble!

The houses collapsed suddenly.

Many residents who were too late to flee screamed and were covered by collapsed houses.

The six-headed monster made bloodthirsty sounds from his six mouths, chasing after the fleeing crowd.

"Monster, do not harm my people!"

An old man covered in blood, holding his sword tremblingly, led an army that had already suffered most of the casualties and rushed over at high speed.

"Humble bugs, you are worthy of fighting against the great son of Hydra, die!"

The six-headed monster snake even spat out the human language clearly, and his fat tail smashed like a giant mountain into the army that had gathered around him.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The ground cracked open, and the six-headed monster quickly smashed the army's soldiers into flesh.

"O God, please save us!"

The old man, covered in blood, waving the sword in his hand, screamed up to the sky, his eyes full of despair.

"Father!"

On the far wall, Thekasha shrieked tremblingly.

"Do you want to save him?" Apollo's calm voice appeared in her ear.

Thekasha looked over and said, "Great God, I beg you, save my father and save these people!"

"As I have said, the only ones who are going to save this are yourselves."

Apollo's eyes were calm, and his palm suddenly touched the girl's forehead.

For a moment, Thekasha felt the world around her spin.

Endless light filled her thin body.

Apollo's low voice resounded in her ears, "Go; I will give you the power of 'Ki' and use this power to save your people and your father."

Boom!

The tail of the six-headed monster snake swept, smashing through a row of houses once again.

The stone that flew in mid-air landed on the King of Delphi's chest, and the aged king collapsed to the ground.

The twelve scarlet eyes above, already filled with bloodthirsty terror, looked cold.

"After all, I still couldn't protect Delphi. Did I protect the people?"

With death approaching, the King of Delphi was still full of remorse and despair.

It was too hard for humans to live on earth.

Except for those heroes with the bloodline of the gods, others were simply unable to resist those monsters.

In front of these descendants of the Father of the Hundred Demons, human beings were all humble bugs, powerless to resist.

"Thekasha, my daughter, I hope you will arrive safely in Athens, which is protected by the Goddess of Wisdom, one of the few safe city-states on the earth. Among the gods, this Goddess of Wisdom is the only one who is willing to bless us regularly."

He was thinking of his daughter, who made him proud. The King of Delphi felt the last trace of sweetness in his heart.

Suddenly, a graceful figure bathed in a peculiar light emerged in front of him.

The King of Delphi, who was already waiting for death to come, roared hoarsely: "Thekasha, why are you here?"

Boom!

The hideous head of the six-headed monster snake in the sky above opened his bloody mouth and spat out.

Thekasha, who appeared in front of the King of Delphi, slowly emerged in the color of black iron and then turned into bronze and silver!

Boom!

She pulled up a sword on the ground and slashed towards the top.

The silver-white light ripped apart the void, and the snake head of the monster snapped crisply.

And the scarlet blood splattered on the ground.

"This…" The King of Delphi and the many surviving Delphian subjects were stunned.

Having a head chopped off, the strange snake overhead howled in pain.

"Inferior worm, how could you harm the great son of Hydra? How dare you?"

Ten scarlet eyes glanced angrily, and the snake roared loudly.

The girl who was bathed in the silver-white light, without fear in her eyes, stood up and floated in the air and chopped off the other head of the snake again.

The radiant light slashed through like a graceful arc.

Slash!

Another head of the strange snake sliced.
