"Hi mum, it's me Serena" I squatted in front of her headstone, placing the lavender flowers on the ground while I traced the epitaph on the newly erected headstone. Thanks to Becca who was able to trace where she was buried and I erected the headstone to mark her grave.
"I brought someone who would like to meet you with me" I turned to Ryan who moved beside me, placing his own flower beside mine, he insisted on buying his own flower separately.
"Nice to meet you, Sarah. It's sad that you aren't physically with us here but I know you'll always be watching over her." My stomach warmed by his thoughtful speech and he continued, snagging my hand in his, "I promise to always love and care for her, forever and always" he said while looking at me.
