Chanaka had been working in the fields tirelessly. He hardly took a break and did his job with utmost sincerity. Moto came and saw him once in a while. He smiled at the progress of Chanaka. How much longer master? asked Aido. A few more days, replied Moto. A few more days turned into six months. Chanaka had become a specialist in his work. He had forgotten everything else and was fully focused on his job. He even forgot that he wanted to be the strongest in the world. The clan, the techniques, all the other worldly pursuits were long forgotten. He was only engrossed in his job.
One final day, Moto called him to his house. Master! said Chanaka and stood before him humbly. How was your day, he asked him. Good! said Chanaka. The day was done and the darkness was enveloping them. What do you plan on doing tomorrow? asked Moto. He gave him a detailed description of how he was going to work the fields.
Tomorrow, you do not need to go to the fields, said Moto. Then what do I do? asked Chanaka. Training, said Moto. Chanaka got back to his senses and his ress as kitty returned. "I'am Chanaka, the strong," he mumbled. Yet! in the presence of Moto, he could not shake off his humbleness. He then realised that he was in the presence of a true Master.
"Yes, Master," said Chanaka.
6:00 AM sharp, said Moto.
"Yes, Master," said Chanaka.
