"Oh, he's attacking next!", the camera moved to the man on top of a fighter jet. It was Relentless-4, he jumped on the shoulder of the titan. He raised both of his arms, enraged energy flowed through his body and extended outside forming a pair of swords. Before the titan could start absorbing natural energy again, he stabbed the neck of the titan with one of his swords and threw the other one like a boomerang in the air. He positioned his hands in a prayer position. He concentrated for a few seconds while the second sword was spinning in the air. When the timing was right, he slid his left hand upwards and his right one downwards, activating his ability.
"Long Sword!" afterward upon activation, the swords greatly increased in size. The first sword pierced through the monster's neck and stabbed the monster's neck. The other long sword landed and pushed the first sword. The force upon landing caused the first sword to move in a counterclockwise direction which ultimately cut the monster's head off. Everyone watching cheered for what they believed was a victory for them.
"Relentless-4 has done it! He defeated the monster!", the field reporter cheered as the camera zoomed in on the monster. Its head was thrown away, while its body started to plunge to the ground. Relentless-4 covered his legs with enraged energy and hopped toward the nearest fighter jet. He returned his hands in a prayer position and deactivated his long swords.
"What a tough fight! but luckily today, victory is on our side!", the news anchor announced. The police officers watching were jumping and punching the air upon hearing the good news.
"That's what I'm talking about!", a policeman cheered.
"They did it! But honestly, I could have done better.", another one bragged.
"Better at what? You were shaking when you were fighting The Destroyer earlier!", a policewoman laughed.
"Quiet!", a police officer ordered.
"You don't look very happy, August.", a police officer noticed his expression.
"If The Destroyer did something to it to behave like that, I don't believe that the fight is over.", August said.
"When did you become so pessimistic?". A police officer laughed.
"Not pessimistic, just careful.", he replied.
"Speaking of The Destroyer, where was he anyway?", a police officer asked.
"We don't know, he kind of just disappeared after he sent that monster flying.", August said. One of the police officers opened his social media account and saw everyone giving Relentless-4 his flowers. He was rained down with praise from the public as he went trending online.
"Relentless-1,2, and 3 should retire now!", a social media person posted.
"Yes! Relentless-4 is 4 the people!", a person commented.
"L, for the other Relentless members!", another one commented.
"Shut up you guys, this is not sports!", a user replied.
"Shut up you guys, this is not sports, this sounds like something you would say, Marsha.", the police officer read the reply and laughed. He stopped for a second and stared at the person's account name.
"Oh, wait it is you!", the police officer said. He glanced at Marsha who was busy arguing with people online.
"Quiet, I'm busy.", she said while typing on her smartphone. The rest of the police officers returned their attention to the television.
"All of our people here are asking the same question, is the monster truly dead?", the news anchor asked.
"That is exactly what we are wondering here as well, but currently Relentless-5 is inspecting from the grounds.", Carina answered.
"Can you zoom in on that direction?", Carina pointed to the body of the monster lying on the ground. The cameraman zoomed in on the scene and showed a man who was examining. He touched the body of the titan and passed through inside.
"Oh, that looks disgusting.", a police officer reacted.
"I bet it smells like ass in there.", a police officer said.
"Quiet.", a police officer commanded. Somebody signaled Carina to go somewhere and left the view of the camera. After several seconds, she returned to the camera with a woman in a military uniform. She put her microphone to her mouth and started speaking.
"Right now, we have a military personnel with us to explain what is happening.", she announced.
"Sargeant Reyes, can you tell us what is Relentless-5 doing?", she moved the microphone to her, waiting for her answer.
"Yeah sure, Relentless-5 is analyzing the insides of the monster to check for any sign of life. His role in the Relentless 5 has always been about scouting and inspecting. It might look disgusting, but from what I know that is not-", Sergeant Reyes explained. Before she could finish her statement, Carina cut her off.
"Thank you so much, Sargeant, but-", Carina said but she was also interrupted.
"Oh my god, can I get a shoutout? Shoutout to my friends, Marissa and Crystal!", she grabbed the mic and energetically waved into the camera.
"Anyway, we will be back after a short break.", she grabbed the mic back and put on a fake smile on the camera. The staff members escorted the sergeant away from the camera and they all sat down waiting for something to happen. After a few minutes, Relentless-5 returned with a confused facial expression. Carina and her team stood up and grabbed their stuff to prepare for airing again.
"We'll be back in 10 seconds.", one of the news staff announced.
"Got it.", Carina said as she was preparing herself.
"Do I look good?", asked the cameraman. The cameraman nodded.
"3, 2, 1, and we're back.", the staff said.
"Hello everybody, we are back with Carina for the latest update on the giant monster in Caleville. Can you tell us the elephant in the room, what is going on with the body?", the news anchor asked.
"Good evening everyone, right now Relentless-5 has emerged from the presumably dead body of the giant monster. We are still yet to find out what happened but Relentless-5 and Relentless-2 seem to be talking about something.", she reported.
