Chapter 32 - Chapter 31: Experiment Materials (1)

Helena pulled Adhitte's arm towards her. Before she could resist, that woman was already running to take her away. It was so fast that Dean and Arthur couldn't react. Helena disappeared into the forest of Tryton Kingdom.

"Damn, that crazy woman ...."

Arthur looked at Dean. He didn't have a single wound. It just looked like he was holding back his emotions. Arthur only saw him like that because he usually looked cold.

"Are you okay?" Arthur asked, seeing that Dean was really holding back.

Dean ignored him and approached the injured subordinates. Some of them just looked like they had fainted, but some of them were actually wounded to the point of bleeding. He seemed to have a strange expression.

"L-less than half of them are almost c-critical. We need to bring them in q-quickly." Leon reacted when he saw that some of his members had a lot of blood on them.

Dean still flinched, then he muttered, "There's more people coming this way."

Arthur immediately looked around, searching for the place in question. No one appeared. It seemed like they were still far away because Dean's instincts were almost never wrong.

"Are they enemies or partners?" Arthur asked while trying to approach the subordinates who didn't have too many wounds. They looked like they were asleep.

Dean didn't respond, he looked in the other direction. Sure enough, there were a few people emerging from there.

Srak!

"Are you guys here? We waited a long time at the main base—hey, what's going on? Where did the summoned woman go?"

Count Rubel and Cindy came from the direction of the Tryton Kingdom forest. They only came alone from the headquarters, it seemed that Kalypt had resumed work again because it was getting dark and his work was more efficiently done at night.

Arthur looked at Count Rubel's condition and asked, "Are you well? What about your energy?"

"I'm fine, energy can be recharged. Then, how can you guys be fine when your guild members are injured like that?" Count Rubel approached them in a hurry.

Count Rubel looked at Team C's condition. Cindy also approached to see their condition. That girl's mental health was deteriorating as she saw her comrades injured.

"I-I can't help treat because I'm not a healer—"

"Who wants to ask you to treat them? Don't equate us with your useless father. It's enough to support them without treating them, you can help with that." Count Rubel cut off Cindy's exaggerated speech again.

That man had a dangerous mouth. However, it was still reasonable and acceptable. Even Arthur had been unable to resist him.

Cindy tried to check the veins of some of the injured people. They were all still treatable. She immediately asked Dean for something.

"Leader-nim, please treat them now." Cindy pleaded to the point where it seemed she would do anything for her request to be carried out.

Dean frowned. Of course he would do it. "I'll do it because it's my duty, but how to bring them all?"

"I-I can take you to the base with teleportation magic!"

Dean, Leon and Arthur immediately focused on him. Especially Dean. "Although your magic can go up to using circle 5 magic, but the circle in your body is only circle 3. Are you sure you can carry more than ten men?"

Cindy nodded nervously. "I-I'll try to be useful."

'Ah, this is the effect of what Count Rubel said earlier.'

Dean immediately opened his ring. He ordered Leon. "You... take the ring that they all used, right now."

Arthur also helped. The ring that Dean said could detect holy power or otherwise, was an object made using mana stones. Obviously it could be used by Cindy to increase her mana.

When the ring was collected, Cindy said, "I've never made a teleportation circle. So I'll just take you guys straight away."

That girl immediately cast a spell. Count Rubel helped Dean and Leon position the unconscious subordinates to line up for the teleportation.

Count Rubel cursed at Arthur who was silent. Even though Arthur's focus was distracted because of something.

Helena carried Adhitte's body easily. She ran in the middle of the forest very fast. Vampires had above-average speed compared to other races. Hence, he ran freely.

Adhitte could not react anything because his level had dropped a lot. Even he was surprised by Helena's level. The woman was carried on Helena's back.

Helena's body temperature could be felt by him. Because she often wore dresses that showed off her sexy body like this. Adhitte could sense that Helena was not human.

'There are so many errors in the system after update.'

After several tens of minutes of running, Helena finally stopped at a small building in the forest. The building was entirely wooden and creepy-looking. There was no sign of lights.

"Why did you bring me here? Who are you? Are you the same as those men?" Adhitte was confused by Helena.

Helena laughed. She used a voice that was quite seductive. "How is it, huh? Am I on the same side as them? Hmm... tell me no."

Because of the playfulness, Adhitte felt annoyed with Helena. "You can play around like that when you're in such dire straits."

Adhitte knew that because she saw that her health points were lower than half. Helena was as good as dying.

"Tsk... how do you know that? Is it really visible?" Helena touched her face.

Adhitte felt that it was normal because they were women. However, it felt awkward because Helena was not human.

"So, why did you bring me here?" Adhitte asked again.

The vampire woman was still using a seductive tone. "Hey, relax baby. Just call me by my name, Helena. Hmm... I just need a friend with an aura like yours."

Helena smelled Adhitte's body scent excessively. "You're like blood among the water. You're a creature with unique active mana. Hearing that conversation, you're not from this world? Amazing!"

Adhitte was surprised by Helena sniffing his body suddenly. He could see the notification window that popped up again from the system.

[This character allows entry into the party!]

[Invite her into your party!]

'This is the first time the system has shown party invitations other than that guy. Is this fantasy world creature really good for a team?'

"What's wrong with me? I'm just like any other human."

Helena shook her head hearing Adhitte say that. "You're too modest. Even though you yourself admit you are transcendent."

That woman invited Adhitte into her house. Although it was a bit pushy, Adhitte just followed her. Her level had dropped, making her unable to be immune from the vampire's aura which did have the power to seduce.

Although it looked small from the outside, it turned out that inside the house was very spacious. There were several cabinets and tables that looked hundreds of years old, but were still usable.

"Welcome to my little laboratory!"

Helena showed Adhitte around. There was nothing unusual in the house. As mentioned, there was a lot of equipment for making various experiments.

"Do you want to know my other experiments?"

Without hearing Adhitte's reply, Helena pulled him into a room where there was a separate downward staircase. The room really only contained stairs.

Grrrr...

Adhitte saw something downstairs. There was something strange with a large size.

Elsewhere, in the same forest. Arthur saw Leon who continued to give Cindy help. The girl after performing teleportation magic, she vomited a lot of blood.

Dean couldn't even wrap his head around it, so he called the best healer in the guild and told him to treat Cindy. Leon who was basically a coward, he encouraged Cindy to win with the girl.

"Cindy, please hold on. Don't close your eyes... please!"

Cindy nodded weakly on Leon's lap. They were in Dean's room upstairs. Leon rested Cindy's head on his thigh. Those two are too alay.

'These two cowards.'

Even until the healer arrived, the two of them were still acting like Cindy had an incurable disease. Fortunately, the healer tolerated the two people's behavior.

"There's nothing in her body. It's just that the circle is enlarged. Congratulations, you already have a level 4 mana heart."

'Huh?'

Arthur wasn't the only one who was surprised. Leon, who had been crying with Cindy, gaped at the healer. Count Rubel who was talking to Dean, rubbed his ears, while Dean himself sighed.

Cindy herself was surprised. "Wh-what do you mean?"

The healer was confused by their reactions. "Yes, congratulations to you ma'am. Your Circle, which serves as the heart of your mana, has grown."
