Chereads / Rebirth of the Lazy Waste / Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

The burning star was still above the heads of the puny humans. Summer had just started and the students who had been just released from prison were playing and attacking stalls to buy their favorite treats. The schools were aggressively making preparations for the final exams.

Sylvia flopped on the bed in her room as she thought about her day at school. At the first point, she was lying on the pavement in a pool of blood, and at the second she was sitting in her old middle school classroom. She didn't know how she had spent those three hours. She was in so much confusion and bewilderment she did not even talk to Erika and ran to the bicycle. She rode on the familiar road and stopped before the magazine store. The daily newspaper can never be wrong. Why was she in XX13?

Before she could tear out her hair she noticed some books on the side table. She saw the title: Rebirth of the Young Miss. Very similar to the type of novels she used to read. The thought lingered in her mind for a long time as she rode her bicycle to the home. As expected the house was not renovated. It was still the old villa-type house with a front yard and backyard. She unfamiliarly put the bicycle near the wall of the gate and stepped up the front steps to the door. Her mother seemed to have gone to meet her neighbors. After taking in the nostalgic surroundings she went straight into the bathroom to take a shower. The chilled water streaming down her body made her more conscious.

So the possibility is that she is reborn. Just like those protagonists of fantasy novels. It does not seem like a setup or something. If it is, it should be mad expensive. Like how would you change everything? Even her bulky boxy computer is new. For which she and her sister had made a huge fuss to buy.

"I'm home. Sylvie are you home?" The door seemed to thud against the wall as a scream ran throughout the house. Well, the tranquil noon is over. The devil is here.

Before she could sit up straight the door of the bedroom also opened from the outside aggressively. The perpetrator was grinning like a fool. Oh, she looked so cute when she was young. Wait. She is still young.

"Sylvie, do you know what happened at the school today? That Lucas from the third villa was proposed by Venessa at lunch. And she tried to kiss him on the cheek but he pushed her and she fell on the gravy. And her skirt looked like she had shit inside out. Hahaha. So I thought that she was so pitiful. But then she tried to push Audrey too. Then I thought she was not so pitiful, just a brat." The little girl was puffing her cheeks while talking gibberish while Sylvia unknotted her tie and helped her take off her blazer.

"Huh? How did she fall on gravy? Was the push that strong?" Sylvia asked in an exaggerated voice.

"Ahh no silly, she had pushed Audrey while taking the lunch because she was on the way to Lucas. So Audrey's lunch had fallen. And after Lucas pushed her, she fell into the mess she had created earlier." The little girl tapped the top of her head as she explained the situation, cough, scandal animatedly.

Sylvia rounded her mouth in understanding and nodded along. Hah, these kids have better love life than me in the last life, she thought bitterly.

"Okay. Now go and take a shower. You stink." She pushed her into the bathroom as she took out a change of fresh clothes for her.

"You are stinky." The brat hissed back and ran into the bathroom.

They both lived together until she got into high school when she needed a fully quiet place which was not possible in the presence of this little monster named Cyra.

Well, these shorts and a white top look good. Very chick. They will suit her. But that brat will not like this. Definitely.

She turned around and turned on the computer. Well, it will take some more groans and sighs for it to turn on capably.

"Ew. I'm not wearing this. Where is my red tank top? White is so boring, Sylvie." As expected.

Sylvia turned around to see the little girl in a fluffy towel rummaging through the wardrobe impatiently.

"You can wear whatever you want but my side must be tidy or I'll throw all of your funky pieces in the trash." She turned to face the fat computer screen after warning.

2 minutes later.

Ugh. Fu*k you, internet. This damned speed is so slow that I have an urge to tear my hair out of my scalp. She thought while gritting her molars.

She is now in 8th grade again and she can't remember a thing to save her life. Maybe she could manage Math and physics, but language and social studies are indispensable to preparing or she will fail the 8th grade. And failing 8th grade after being an adult mentally is simply shameful.

But before that, she had to prepare for something.

Cyra dressed up quickly and turned to look at her sister. Looks like today is really good. First, she got full-on entertainment in the school, and then her always reserved and quiet sister helped her take off that annoying knotty fabric. And she also responded to her noisy chatter.

Let's see what is Sylvie doing right now. Wha... She is typing something. She can not understand it right now. But it is in the common language. And the common language is really difficult to learn. And Sylvie is typing so fast. Even faster than her computer teacher. Her sister is awesome.

Sylvia quickly comprised the mail and clicked on 'send'. Finally. Let's see what happens now. The first step is done. And the next will depend on the situation.
