George paused for a moment:
"Was it Mordred's doing?"
Gavin raised an eyebrow.
"He encountered Mordred, but it was only a severe wound to Bedivere. The real attackers were the lost members of the Knight Order.
"Do you remember the Holy Grail War?"
George replied:
"They got lost in the Behind-the-scenes Dimension."
Gavin nodded his head:
"I haven't met them, but a girl told me about it. Bedivere held them off so she could escape to me.
"Her name is Lei. She brought bad news and lineage."
George inquired:
"Has he finally chosen a disciple?"
"Perhaps he had already foreseen his end, after all, at this time transmitting his own bloodline is unlikely to be a coincidence."
Gavin said:
"But I have another idea. Maybe he didn't foresee this event being discovered, but someone else did. That person guided Bedivere to leave behind a legacy."
"Can you think of any names?"
George knew who he was talking about.
