"Arrogance is an eternal human flaw. They always judge the world with their narrow wisdom, never attempting to observe the shifting reality with a grander vision.
"In fact, many of them are rather smart. But, since they are smart, even if they foresee the possible results, they don't mind as long as they can stay out of it. Any other losses are acceptable to them.
