Standing in the middle, Hewitt said to Nash:
"I followed you here."
Arlene drew her sword and pointed it at Hewitt:
"Be careful, this place is full of shape-shifting creatures that can perfectly imitate humans. If you have any thoughts of trusting one of them, they will amplify those thoughts …"
Nash raised his hand to stop Arlene from continuing, and gave a look to the second Hewitt, indicating him to wait.
He looked at the Hewitt that Arlene had pulled out from the rubble and said:
"When we first met, I talked about a terrible thing that had happened to me. I never mentioned it outside of that occasion. Who touched my hand?"
Hewitt hesitated for only a moment before calmly replying:
"The Lake Fairy."
Arlene said:
"I can confirm that this Hewitt is real because only a real person would be lost. I have to act now, otherwise you'll be more and more inclined to believe the shape-shifter demon under the influence of magic."
The second Hewitt said:
