He can understand that the eye doesn't want to share things that exceed his comprehension capacity, as Odin's eye believes it would harm him.
But what it doesn't understand is that Lamont still wants to know some things, even if they might harm him.
Like Odin himself.
Odin's eye never actively reveals anything about its original host.
But Lamont has caught glimpses of several things indirectly.
Odin is basically the embodiment of the word greatness,
Lamont just can't suppress his curiosity.
What does the greatness of Odin represent, and how does Odin's eye perceive him?
Lamont's understanding of the ancient gods is merely superficial.
