"You're not the first to ask that."
Amelie gazed at the holy sword with a bright expression:
"I've tried it too. To be honest, when I heard about the legend of King Arthur as a child, I used to imagine that I was the one pulling the Sword in the Stone.
"I think King Arthur left the Sword in the Stone here, hoping for a virtuous and great knight and king to pull it out."
Hewitt glanced at Amelie.
The young man's thoughts were very pure and noble.
Only a morally noble person would genuinely consider the issue from this perspective.
Most people would have greed for the Sword in the Stone.
Amelie naively believed that if someone could pull the Sword in the Stone, then they'd truly possess this sword symbolizing power and kingship.
Hewitt smiled.
Because his thoughts were correct.
