"You have no reason to stay here, Perseis. Now, going back to the surface and letting your family not worry about you is the most important thing. Hewitt will take care of everything."
Perseis shook her head:
"There is no one on the surface who cares about me. I am a green dragon. Green dragons must leave the nest before their adolescence, and because of my strangeness, my mother drove me away decades earlier. Since then, I have wandered around and met some humans, but at least for now, I have no friends on the surface.
"As for my mother, I'm not sure if she would avenge me if I died here. I think she probably wouldn't. She had many children before me, and some even fought with her, some were seriously injured and defeated, and some lost their lives.
