Outside the small chamber was a vast barren plain, where yellow sands danced in the wind, sparse green plants dotted the lifeless land, and towering city walls stood in the distance to separate the girls from the deserted wasteland.
The reactions of the group varied. Antonya was utterly dominated by fear and confusion. Everything happening before her eyes shattered the common sense she had built over a decade, and she instinctively rejected everything she saw.
The girl crouched down and muttered to herself:
"Impossible, impossible, impossible..."
Fanni was certainly more experienced and knowledgeable compared to Antonya, so she didn't fare as badly. However, she was still completely shocked by what she saw, her mouth hung wide open, not knowing what to say.
"By King Arthur!" was the only thing Fanni could manage to utter.
