Skylar continued to speak to himself:
"I'm not a coward, so I hope you don't misunderstand my actions to come."
Aiona clenched her teeth and asked:
"What the hell do you want? The police will find us, it's not too late to turn back now."
Skylar chuckled lightly:
"You better keep being scared. You're terrified, aren't you? It's better to be obedient, so at least your fear won't increase."
Lei also spoke:
"Why are you doing this? What's the point of all this?"
Skylar's voice had a hint of helplessness:
"You can't understand. From a worldly perspective, my actions may not be entirely evil. After all, I'm about to become a great hero who will save the world, and you two are just insignificant sacrifices on my path to salvation."
"After you die, I'll tell your families that you volunteered for this. Oh, I forgot, Lei, you don't have a family. And your only friend, Kerry, won't live much longer."
