Or perhaps it would be more accurate to liken it to a mirror that separated reality from the Behind-the-scenes World.
Amos used the metaphor of a mirror for this world because, from a certain perspective, the Behind-the-scenes World was like the reflection of reality.
Every lifeform and object would manifest in unique forms within this world.
Together, the most beautiful and the most repulsive aspects were reflected in the mirror.
But on the other hand, perhaps reality was merely the reflection of the Behind-the-scenes Dimension – who could say for sure?
Wait, it seemed that the Leviathan had spotted something.
An insect.
