Tanya walked with her hands behind her back, full of anticipation, leading Hewitt towards her home.
Hewitt, wearing a black fur coat and a flat top hat, followed her with light steps.
"Although the street I live on looks a bit rundown, everyone in the neighborhood is really nice. They've taken care of my sister and me since we were little," the little girl spoke proudly as if it were her first time inviting friends to her home.
Hewitt replied with a smile:
"Although there are some bad places in this world, it never lacks people who shine."
The girl nodded happily:
"Yeah, I've been able to grow up safely because of everyone's help."
More and more people thronged the street.
Hewitt said:
"It's pretty lively here. Is this a commercial street?"
Tanya shook her head, her golden hair flowing with the wind:
"Usually there aren't that many people on the street. Maybe there's an event happening today? Maybe we can join in later."
