Cyril laid in his sick bed.
It had been several days, but he had yet to come to himself yet.
Why?
All that had happened was truly puzzling.
Who attacked him? Why would they chop off his right arm and destroy his future as a knight? Why did they allow him to forget what had happened?
Normally, when a person loses his memory, he appears suddenly from one scene and moves to another, as if the time in between never existed.
However, his feelings were different. Between two clear memories was a vague and abstract blank, and the royal wizard said it was not the result of lack of ability, but a deliberate outcome.
Did his attacker want him to know roughly what happened, all the while ensuring that he couldn't identify who it was - was it out of fear?
Or perhaps there was just a dislike for trouble.
Cyril had an underlying feeling that the person who had attacked him was dangerous.
Cyril suddenly looked towards the open door.
