Faceless Turner said:
"Haven't I always been by your side? Miss Nellie, have you forgotten? I am you, and always have been. I am the thoughts you refuse to acknowledge, born from madness and chaos. You and the world have shaped me together."
Nellie asked:
"Why did you come to me?"
Faceless Turner laughed softly:
"Why does a person talk to themselves? Do normal people need a reason to think? I am you; it's not that I found you, but rather that you wanted to see me, so we met.
"I am not a monster; I am you, Nellie. Why do you imagine me as the one who killed your father? You don't need to fear me; I am you."
Nellie asked:
"Why do you go on to other people, becoming a spreading disease?"
He shook his head, then rubbed his own cheek, revealing Nellie's face:
"I spread disease? I haven't done anything; I am a part of you. My understanding of that phenomenon is absolutely no greater than yours.
