Lamont blinked his right eye:
"My lady, don't be anxious. Interfering with destiny is not like waving a hand here and having an instantaneous reaction there.
"As beings unable to transcend the dimension of time, we must respect this great rule and be patient. All will change as time flows."
The shadow questioned again, her voice now tinged with sarcasm:
"So, did you fail? You once proved that power to me, so I don't doubt your power, but... "
The Green Dragon insinuated that she doubted his competence.
Lamont laughed softly.
Such a powerful creature, yet her thoughts are so small and narrow-minded. It's a sad and interesting phenomenon that nature favors this race, allowing their foolish brains to harness such great power.
