Eight in the morning.
Inez woke up from her bed.
The girl stretched her body lazily, feeling the warmth of sunlight shining through the window onto her abdomen.
She hadn't slept so well in a long time.
Inez jumped out of bed and put on her slippers.
Having grown up, she had lived alone in a small house, and she hadn't returned home since going to Furse. She had only met her mother a few times in public.
The girl went into the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror.
There was fury in the eyes of the person in the mirror.
But Inez calmly accepted her own anger.
She had every reason to be mad at this world, for it did not treat her like it treated others, did it not?
Unfair?
No, it wasn't just unfair, it was utterly terrible, with everything being horrible. Although her first half of life felt like she was watching a play of the world, it did not let her realize just how bad everything was for her.
