Hewitt scooped a spoonful of mashed potatoes:
"Inez?"
Hela nodded:
"Perseis mentioned that Inez is about to hold her birthday party. She asked me to accompany her."
Hewitt said:
"It's been a while since I last saw Inez. This could be a good opportunity to visit her."
Hela asked:
"Did Inez invite you?"
Hewitt picked up a newspaper beside him:
"She doesn't even know I'm here."
Hela curiously asked:
"Hewitt, you didn't tell her you were here?"
Hewitt spread out the newspaper:
"I've been a bit busy recently. So many things happened all at once, and I haven't managed to catch up."
Hela lifted her little face to ask:
"Can I help with anything?"
Hewitt laughed:
"All you need to do is study well, Hela. You can worry about these matters when you're older."
Hela said seriously:
"I can grow up right away, you know."
