As the raven disappeared, everyone who had been looking up at the sky turned their gaze back to the ground.
As Hela locked eyes with the Queen of Hearts for a moment, she noticed the surprise in the queen's eyes.
The queen was staring at something about Hela.
The girl instinctively turned around.
The raven was standing not far behind Hela, preening its black feathers with its beak.
Apparently noticing the attention of the crowd, the raven stopped its grooming.
Hela looked into its eyes, which were as deep as jewels, and felt an overwhelming force emanating from them, as if it were trying to swallow her whole.
The raven opened its beak.
Hela didn't hear any sound.
But she felt that the raven had just emitted a bird's cry.
"You? Did you hear what I just said?"
