Hela said:
"The best."
Perseis asked incredulously:
"Doesn't he have any shortcomings?"
Hela shook her head repeatedly:
"Hewitt has no shortcomings."
Perseis asked:
"So, in your eyes, Uncle Hewitt is a perfect person? For example, the way he handled the matter with Professor Lamont wasn't good, he shouldn't have said that in public."
Hela argued:
"If Hewitt did that, it can only prove that it was the best way."
Perseis stopped talking, knowing it would be foolish to try to convince someone to admit their father's shortcomings.
