Roxton has been acting strangely lately.
To be precise, ever since he met Veronica, he's been a bit odd, but now he seems even more so, to the point where even Richard feels a bit alienated from him.
But as a friend, Richard still goes along with these irritating activities.
"We've been walking for over 20 minutes, is this abandoned building area really that big?" Roxton was somewhat puzzled, as the place seemed much larger than what was indicated on the map.
A deep, menacing growl echoed from the distance.
"Wild dogs?" Richard remarked, "The place is indeed bigger than I thought, maybe it's just our unfamiliarity with the area that caused us to misjudge the distance and time."
Roxton felt uneasy due to the bizarre noise:
"There are still wild dogs here? Is there any food left for them after all these years of decay?"
