Kerry was walking down the school street, holding her textbooks and waiting for her friend to arrive.
Suddenly, she saw a little girl with a blonde ponytail bouncing down the street of Aaron University with a quilt on her head.
Kerry couldn't help but be drawn to the girl.
She had hair similar in color and style to her own, and looked to be about twelve or thirteen years old. But something about her expressions and movements seemed a bit off to Kerry.
It was as if the girl should have been younger than she appeared.
However, upon closer inspection, that subtle off-ness seemed to disappear, replaced by a strikingly perfect and almost surreal vibe.
From the moment Kerry laid eyes on the girl, she knew she would like her.
She quickened her pace and walked up to the girl, bending down:
"Little girl, what's your name?"
The blonde girl shifted the quilt on her head and turned to face her:
"My name is Hela."
Hela had changed quite a bit since the first time Hewitt saw her.
