The meeting had long been shattered. With Tyler's death, all core members had vanished without a trace within a day, returning to their original positions like lurking snakes, waiting for the next opportunity.
"To the new president," Hewitt raised his glass.
Marianne smiled and clinked her glass with Hewitt's:
"To you, sir."
