Leaving the blacksmith's shop run by the Storm Dwarf Calvin, Bartlett retraced his steps, preparing to leave this gathering place of "old toys", to leave the Eternal Body dominated by the sorcerers, and to leave the warm realm of darkness reminiscent of a mother's embrace.
In fact, Bartlett's proposal to recruit Calvin the Storm Dwarf was entirely spur of the moment. He had accidentally heard from his fellow Death Knights about the undead in the Spine Forest, which apparently had special status. They had been forgotten by the mages of the Magic Association in this time-frozen corner, and he wasn't sure if the Magic Association would allow them to leave.
But this was not a matter for Bartlett to worry about. He only needed to report Calvin's situation to the apprentice mage. He had no control over how the situation would develop afterwards.
