The Holy Kingdom of Alaso, St. Nino.
Bartlett walked slowly on the wide and flat streets of the city, looking at the slightly familiar buildings around him, his feelings were quite complicated. He remembered that the last time he came to St. Nino was around this time. The terrible disaster that happened afterward brought great changes to both the city and himself.
Although the disaster had passed and the damaged buildings had been repaired, Bartlett could still find traces of it lingering in every corner of the city. A barely noticeable blood stain, a broken old shoe lying in the grass, and traces of knives and axes left on walls and fences all told the horror and tragedy of that disaster.
Just as our barbarian adventurer was feeling a rare moment of sentimentality, a pure white ermine suddenly crawled out of his cloak. The little creature laid on Bartlett's shoulder, revealing only a small, triangular head, and curiously gazing around.
