'Ranger City', Dwarf District.
Ranger City is a bustling metropolis located about two hundred kilometers south of Muya City. Legend has it that this was once the capital of the Elf Empire during the Sixth Era, and the withered World Tree, called 'Bell Hill', was planted here. After the majority of elves chose to retreat and rejuvenate, most of them retreated to the Eastern Holy Forest, leaving only some elf rangers guarding the dead World Tree.
Later on, the Magic Empire was founded. The mages somehow convinced the elves to give up the dead 'Bell Hill'. However, some say it was not the mages who convinced them, but the elves who chose to abandon it. It seems that the dead World Tree had connected to the Negative Energy Plane or other terrifying unknown planes and begun spawning various hideous and ugly monsters and evil undead.
