Just as the massive water wall, nearly twenty meters high, had begun to form, Bartlett had gotten over his initial surprise. The barbarian quickly ran towards the nearest fir tree, shouting as he ran, "Quick, take cover!"
Not caring whether his allies understood or not, he disappeared behind the tree. He embraced the tree trunk with his arms and legs, holding his breath in anticipation of the oncoming water. The water wall bore down on them, the massive waves arriving in an instant with the momentum to engulf all living things on land, and it submerged most of the forest.
