The White Mane Clan's village was built in a spacious clearing at the center of a white wax tree forest.
Trees were scarce on the Vast Sea Prairie, and it was even rarer to find dense forests. It was only because a wide and gentle river was nearby, which provided the vast amount of water needed for the growth of so many trees in the forest.
The original name of the river was in Elvish, called "Anacaruwa," which translated to "Path of Sunshine" in the Common Language, so Guide Gene also called it the "River of Light."
In the early morning, when the sun rose from the distant horizon, the warm sunshine streamed along the direction of the river, turning the entire river into dazzling golden yellow. This beautiful sight was also the origin of the name River of Light.
The season happened to be the flowering period of the white wax trees. Large swathes of snow-white flowers bloomed among the green leaves, giving this exotic village with a wild aura, a touch of clarity and elegance.
