The Gnoll beside the Goblin looked quite peculiar, its body covered in large and small scars. Not only did its round head lack ears, it was missing one eye as well. Its left leg was a wooden prosthetic, which had caused the 'clack' sound earlier. The Goblin stared at Evita intently with its remaining eye, the corner of its mouth curling into a cruel smile.
"Awake now? Little mare." The Goblin waved its hand, signaling the Gnoll to leave Evita's sight. "I once read in a book, 'You can never wake someone who's pretending to sleep.' I don't agree with that view. In my opinion, no matter how someone wants to pretend to sleep or to what extent, you just need to give them a good hit, let them experience enough pain, and they'll naturally stop pretending."
Is it talking about me? "Who are you?" Evita asked loudly.
