Barto Hell — a land rampant with corruption and flourishing hatred.
Any mortal dwelling here, if their sanity slackens just a little, would be influenced by it. The evil within their hearts would amplify continuously and their physical form too would simultaneously change.
They would gradually sprout red-black scales, curved sharp horns, gleaming red eyes, and even wings like those of a bat. Their inner beings would be filled with hatred, their nature becoming increasingly vicious, and they would ultimately mutate into a terrifying, detestable monster, reminiscent of a devil.
Some Scholars of the Prime Material Plane have taken to calling such monsters 'Half-Purgatory Creatures,' because they bare many similarities to the offspring produced by cross breeding between purgatory and Prime Material Plane creatures. However, there are some differences between the Half-Purgatory creatures born of breeding and those born of Hell's influence, which are not readily discernible to most.
