"Nice to meet you here, my friend." A sudden greeting entered Bartlett's Soul Fire, identical to the inscription on the tombstone.
He glanced around subconsciously, "Well..., I'm not sure if you mean 'meeting' or 'peeping' from some corner." Bartlett placed his hand on the rune weapon at his waist, speaking loudly.
"Oh, sorry, my mistake." The intruding voice apologized, "I haven't had a guest in my shop for a long time, causing me to become somewhat rusty in basic hospitality."
A shop? Where's the shop? The inverted pyramid nearby? But then again, why didn't the mummy he first encountered reside in the pyramid? Was it because it wasn't his home, or did his wife kick him out? The Barbarian wondered nonsensically.
When he was little, his neighbor, Uncle Bankford, would always get kicked out of his own house. Bankford would then turn around and come to Bartlett's house to drink with his father.
