Henry grew up under the care of his uncle.
Because his uncle 'Chester' was a physician and intentionally taught Henry a lot about herbs and diseases from a young age, Henry naturally became a physician when he grew up.
Henry followed Chester to help treat people, learning about disease identification, distinguishing herbs and plants, extracting and formulating various medicines, sixteen methods of safe bloodletting, and the rearing of leeches, among other miscellaneous knowledge. Finally, he inherited Chester's mantle and became a distinguished physician himself.
He never returned to his hometown, and always lived with his uncle Chester in the small town of 'Emser'. The incidents of his childhood had been deeply buried in his heart and gradually forgotten as time passed.
