Bartlett leaped high atop the colossal undead creature, Bone Burial Garden. At the apex of his ascent, he paused momentarily before plunging his weapons downward with both hands gripping the hilt. 'Pain' and 'Despair' fiercely struck the serpentine skeleton beast's neck, the impact sending bone shards flying and shattering countless tightly-arranged skeletons.
He still remembered the expression on the female Death Knight Aislinn Renee's face when she heard the names he had given these rune weapons.
"Are you serious? 'Pain' and 'Despair'? Those are the names you've chosen for your weapons?" Aislinn Renee looked at Bartlett with disdain back then. "Wow, I must say, that's quite special."
Wary that Bartlett might not catch the sarcasm in her tone, Aislinn Renee deliberately made air quotes when saying the word "special."
