'Albino Drow' was a rather strange name for a species, but it was the first thing that came to mind for the young mage.
He was so certain of this because besides the unnatural pure white skin on the child before him, there was also the pair of red eyes filled with terror as the child looked at him. It was not an ordinary Drow Elf.
Kris knew that almost all albino creatures had red or pink pupils (some incomplete albinos produced a small amount of melanin), because their irises were transparent and red was the color of blood vessels at the back of the eyes.
Because of their inherent genetic defects, these pure white creatures are extremely rare and find it difficult to survive in the harsh natural world. This was especially true for the Drow Elves.
