In the city center of the Heart Stealing Demon city, 'Aureido', stood a giant grey-black granite boulder. Several grey dwarves were hammering and chiseling on the hard rock, seemingly carving something.
Next to the giant granite, there was a high-collared long-robed Heart Stealing Demon. It had six tentacles on its head, two more than the other Heart Stealing Demons Bartlett had seen on the road. Moreover, this Heart Stealing Demon was much taller than its peers, even slightly taller than Bartlett himself.
As he and the little mage gazed at this Heart Stealing Demon, it also looked back at them.
