The Drow Elf fell, his ribs shattered by Bartlett's axe.
This attack was just an ordinary heavy blow; although the enemy didn't have time to dodge, he still managed to block it halfway with his scimitar. However, he was too weak, and the Resonance battleaxe, despite its odd design, smashed into the Drow Elf's chest, breaking all of his ribs.
The enemy lay lifelessly on the ground, his collapsed chest no longer visible. His lips opened and closed, and fresh blood gushed out of the corners of his mouth, staining the luminous mushrooms beside his ears.
Bartlett stepped forward, holding his sword at the opponent's heart, and looked down at the dying man. He realized that the enemy in front of him seemed to want to say something before his death, but the constant flow of blood from his mouth made it impossible for him to speak.
