This was a genuinely adventurous group, and while their strength was not impressive, Bartlett enjoyed leading the youngsters through their escapades.
They were all experienced true Adventurers, rather than part timers from other professions such as farmers, bards or drivers. The young men were proficient with their weapons, cooperated well with one another, and successfully executed Bartlett's battle commands, which was quite remarkable.
More importantly, as an Elite Adventurer, Bartlett could freely yell at the youngsters during battle without any hesitation. He used to do so quite often, but had stopped since his personality had gradually changed to become more introverted and reserved.
Having a go at it once in a while felt pretty good, he thought.
